It is very telling that human rights activists are rarely, if ever, criticized for “forcing their beliefs” on others. Yet when we advocate against unnecessary violence and exploitation perpetrated against animals, we are suddenly “forcing our views.” In fact, it is those who pay others to needlessly bully and brutalize defenseless animals who are most violently forcing their views. You can rest assured there is no more forceful imposition of a viewpoint than the forcing of a knife into a helpless individual’s throat, the forcing of a bullet into a brain, or the forcible separation of babies from their mothers which is the basis of dairy farming.
